The basics If the
lease says "renew for a like term" then the lease automatically renews
for a year; if the lease says "renews on a month to month basis" then
the lease is in force on a month-to-month; if the lease says nothing
about renewal, but the tenant continues to say there...then it is a
defacto renewal on a month to month basis.
